Radiology Services

Radiology is the area of medicine that uses X-rays, radioactive tracers, magnetic waves and ultrasonic waves to obtain detailed images of the inside of the body. Doctors can then use those images to detect and diagnose illnesses and injuries, as well as to help develop treatment plans. To complement our imaging capabilities, our outpatient location, provides high-quality and technologically advanced medical imaging to residents of Pushmataha County. Pushmataha Hospital radiology department offers the following radiology services:

Computed tomography (CT) and CT angiography
Diagnostic digital x-ray
Diagnostic ultrasound

Results

Once the exam is complete, a radiologist will study the X-rays and compare them to any available prior X-rays of this same area. The radiologist will send a report of the findings to your physician.
